Works directly with TRC permitting division to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal agency historic preservation laws for energy and infrastructure development projects. Serves as key member of environmental planning and permitting teams. Coordinates and consults with State Historic Preservation Offices. Significant involvement with highway infrastructure projects for West Virginia Division of Highways, wind and solar facilities, and hydroelectric projects for multiple renewable energy development companies in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Recent projects focus on permitting studies for 50 to 200 MW solar energy facilities throughout New York State under the Article 10 and 94-c permitting process for Public Service Commission and Office of Renewable Energy Siting. Responsible for establishing professional client-customer relations, preparing proposals, fiscal management, staff development, directing research projects, and overall quality assurance and cost control of technical products. Principal clients included Department of the Navy, Air Combat Command, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and environmental and engineering firms. Supported Geo-Marine’s environmental division through preparation of cultural resources sections of environmental compliance documents. Principal research projects conducted in the Eastern United States and Caribbean.
