As a Data Scientist in the AMRC\'s Integrated Manufacturing Group, I am responsible for both technical delivery and client engagement for scoping/managing data-driven projects in the manufacturing sector.Since joining the team as a post-doc in early 2021, I have been involved in a number of projects with major stakeholders including BEIS, Anglo American and Edwards Vacuum and the Catapult Network. I have developed real-time, automated defect detection algorithms, data pipelines and interactive dashboards, extracted actionable business insights from complex manufacturing datasets and contributed to the strategic development of the Data-centric Manufacturing and Data Science teams. My primary research interests lie in the application of appropriate machine learning for the available data and research problem posed; and the study of the data science workflow, supporting my team to produce high quality research through streamlined workloads and straightforward collaboration/knowledge exchange.
