Tim Reeve became the Deputy Director & Chief Operating Officer of the Victoria and Albert Museum in August 2013. As well as chairing the Senior Management Team, he has overall responsibility for the effective and efficient operation of the Museum, and the delivery of a coherent visitor experience strategy, with a particular focus on South Kensington. He directly manages the divisions responsible for Commercial & Digital Development, Finance & Resources, Design, Exhibitions & FuturePlan, and Learning & Visitor Experience. Forthcoming projects include the opening of Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty and the new Europe 16••••00 galleries in 2015, the opening of a V&A design gallery in the new Shekou Design Museum, Shenzhen in 2016, the completion of the Exhibition Road Building in 2017, the completion of the V&A Museum of Design, Dundee in 2018, and the development of a new V&A museum in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford in 2020.
