ABOUT TIM PORTER

Tim is Chief Risk Officer at Loqbox with responsibility for risk, compliance and legal matters across the Loqbox group of companies. This extends across the breadth of risk types including regulatory, operational, financial crime and information security risk as CISO.Tim has over 30 years of experience in banking, finance and consultancy at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Impact Plus and Standard Chartered Bank, at Managing Director level. He has successfully delivered a broad range of large global change programmes including post-acquisition integration, offshore shared services, business process reengineering and government and regulatory investigation and remediation. In addition, Tim held senior management positions in operations, technology, HR and finance. As an independent consultant from 2016 to 2020, he worked with a number of clients including PwC, Acuris Risk Intelligence and HSBC, as well as Loqbox.Tim is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association and holds the ICA’s professional postgraduate diploma in Governance, Risk & Compliance, and a diploma in Financial Crime Prevention.Tim was appointed to the Board of Governors of The Bourne Academy in November 2022 and sits on the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee.
