Lead a comprehensive Data Center modernization project by reviewing and remediating issues with on-premise data centers, virtualized systems networking, storage, redundancy, disaster recovery, and internal security. Collaborated with the CISO on a data center perimeter security contract for Optiv as a managed service provider to lead the emergency responses and maintain compliance with State and Federal requirements.Partnered with Public Health to build a real-time COVID dashboard that integrated with provider, hospital, local caregiver, state, and federal data to drive strategic, zip code-specific decision-making regarding countywide pandemic response policies using MSFT Stack, PowerBI, Azure, and Synapse Modern Data Analytics. Oversee the Data Analytics program to respond to new challenges presented during the pandemic by recruiting and training Cloud Engineers, MSFT Azure Practitioners, and Data Analysts, and developed a county-wide dashboard to enable local citizens to view enterprise performance and inform decision-making in the county government. Collaborate with the Public Information Office to develop a public communication strategy for the county-wide data publication and CORA sharing.
