My best days at work are in the lab or clinic, standing next to a Doctor using our new tools to improve patient care.15 years of leading new product development for implantable medical devices from whitespace to full commercial launch. I succeed through strategic thinking and versatility. Whether it\'s a scoping a whole project or finding our way to a root cause on a technical issue, I pride myself in seeing around corners and knowing the next five steps. Along the way I\'m the go-to for high quality communications up, down, across, and outside of the org chart: external investors, senior management, FDA reviewers, customers, and cross-functional team updates.Some days it\'s presentations to the board, some days it\'s physician training, some days it\'s literally roping cattle for a preclinical study and some days it\'s burning my fingers on a catheter bonding machine. I\'m happy to do it all to push a great product all the way to the patients that need it.
