   Tim Nunan is a Senior Managing Director based out of Berkadia’s Dallas office and the Regional Manager of Berkadia’s Southwest FHA operation. He brings 30 years of experience in commercial real estate to the role. Tim’s primary focus is originating multifamily new construction and refinance loans through Berkadia’s FHA insured platform.Tim began his real estate career as a commercial appraiser for Henry S. Miller Commercial and is a non-practicing MAI (Member of the Appraisal Institute). In 2001, Tim joined Berkadia’s predecessor, GMAC Commercial Mortgage (later Capmark Finance, Inc.) as a MAP Underwriter (multifamily) and approved LEAN Underwriter (healthcare). He transitioned to mortgage origination in 2009.Tim holds a Masters in Land Economics and Real Estate as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University. He is a past President and current board member of the Southwest Mortgagee Advisory Council (SWAC), an organization formed to strengthen the business relationship between HUD Program Centers, Lenders and third-party providers.
