   Manages and leads the network and security team that consists of 7 members- Provides leadership and direction to staff. Hires, trains, assigns work, evaluates and manages performance, determines compensation of subordinate staff in compliance with Employee Services policies and handles all aspects of staff supervision- Develops strategic and operating plans, goals, objectives, priorities, and procedures that are in alignment with the strategic goals and objectives of the LCRA- Oversees IT enterprise network system performance and implements performance tuning. Ensures established network service levels are met- Leads staff in the design, development, and implementation of enterprise network systems, assessing cost and feasibility of system requests and ensuring the plan supports strategic and near-term needs. Improves the organization’s awareness of the potential of information technology to transform the business- Establishes and tests disaster recovery and business continuity plans- Leads and directs staff in defining security policies as well as setting up dashboards on Splunk- Reviews and approves technical changes/tickets - Works with SMEs to develop and define cyber incident recovery plans- Acts as NERC CIP lead to ensure all compliance requirements are fully met and complied- Acts as Cyber Security Coordinator to ensure best practice and highest security standards applied acrossing network infrastructure- A member of Cyber Incident Response and Recovery team.
