ABOUT TIM MOHRING

Since 2014 Mr. Mohring has worked for Geotech Drilling and is responsible for ongoing improvement and development of Geotech\'s Sustainability Division which includes the following departments: Health and Safety, Training, Environment, First Nations and Community Relations, Procurement and Human Resources. He also assists with the corporate Sale and Marketing departments on special projects. Prior to joining Geotech, Mr. Mohring worked in the environmental industry for over 18 years with his experience focused on: project management, site assessments (Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations including drilling investigations), soil and groundwater remediation (hydrocarbons, metals and salt contamination), oil and gas site abandonment, surface water run-off assessments, industrial site decommissioning, spill response and the provision of internal and external training programs (including First Nations). All works completed included a high level of focus on developing sites specific health and safety plans and included the development of the corporate health and safety procedures while completing environmental projects in the Upstream Oil and Gas sector. The projects were completed at a variety of sites including upstream, downstream and midstream oil and gas facilities, mines, sawmills, forestry camps, pulp mills, spill sites, hazardous building material survey locations, government facilities, etc. He is a co-author of the 2012 Draft BC MoE Guidance for Characterizing Contamination at Upstream Oil and Gas sites, was on the board of directors for Northern Technology and Engineering Society from 2011 until 2014, a member of the College of New Caladonia Presidents Industry Council in 2012 and 2013 and has presented numerous papers to industry primarily on contaminated sites regulations as they pertain to Upstream Oil and Gas in BC.
