Global Compliance & Reporting [GCR] services are designed to help companies achieve greater control, efficiency and value across tax and finance. GCR integrates EY Tax and financial competencies, at both a country and global level providing a full range of partnering and outsourcing services, to deliver a seamless record-to-report experience, enabling clients to focus on more strategic business priorities.My role in GCR – I am the global engagement leader on multinational contracts providing Compliance & Reporting services (eg Bookkeeping, Statutory Account Preparation, Direct Tax compliance, Indirect Tax Compliance, Transfer Pricing Documentation, Group Tax Reporting, Payroll) across 80+ countries. My central team provides governance, reporting and issue resolution, working closely with our clients to bring control and visibility to their compliance obligations, managing risk and reducing surprises. An increasingly important part of my role is continuous improvement – identifying synergies between service lines, standardising processes, enabling the digital agenda – data analytics, robotics etc and working with clients who may be carrying out finance transformation activities themselves. I have access to over in-country technical experts, specialist offshore centres of excellence teams and central Subject Matter Experts to support me in my client delivery.
