About Tim Mercurio
With over 15 years of professional experience at Citi, I have honed my expertise in new business sales and sales strategy. My most recent mission at the firm was to deliver cutting-edge proprietary data products to institutional clients. My role as Director allowed me to provide our clients with actionable insights through the firm\'s wealth of internal data. During my tenure, I led the sales of alternative data products, managing product development to contract negotiations and delivery. The role has allowed me to establish meaningful relationships with some of the firm’s largest institutional clients. I also had the opportunity to work with many vendors in the alternative data space. Prior to my role with the Global Data Insights team, I was an investment banker in Citi\'s Global Spread Products business. My responsibilities included issuing and underwriting Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) and marketing nearly $46 billion of new-issue deals to fixed income investors. I have a deep knowledge of the securitization process and the US mortgage ecosystem. I have three FINRA securities licenses (Series 7, 63, 79) and have conducted myself with integrity with colleagues and clients throughout my career.
