Live Nation is a US-based events promoter and venue operator which produces 29,500+ events in 40 countries each year; in 2017 it reported €30bn in gross transaction value from primary and secondary ticketing. Tours delivered during my 16 year tenure with the company incl. those for The Rolling Stones, The Police, Sting, U2, Madonna & Paul McCartney. I am currently responsible for booking and managing tours across Europe and the Middle East, primarily handling high-profile stadium / arena shows undertaken by premium artists. I play a pivotal role in negotiating and securing deals, both single standalone contracts and agreements which form part of a larger worldwide touring arrangement. I prepare and present comprehensive business plans based on robust financial data / forecasts and appropriate recommendations for venues, routes, logistics etc. By leveraging my in-depth market knowledge, personal reputation, and relationships with key partners developed over previous years I am able to engage stakeholders with the solution being proposed. I lead a cross-disciplinary team spanning finance, ticketing, legal etc, and maintain a constant overview of tour operations as they travel through the region incl. managing budgets, forecasts and tour staff.
