   Responsible for the day-to-day management of TIAA’s and Nuveen’s sponsorship program including, contract negotiation, media planning, on-site activation, and long-term strategic planning. Partners include but are not limited to: Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, Charlotte Hornets and Dallas Mavericks• Manage the Brand Partnerships team and provide strategic planning while overseeing all contractual elements to ensure proper utilization of the partnership for best use for business purposes and what aligns with TIAA’s/Nuveen’s core values.• Communicating and managing hospitality across internal organizations. Help facilitate client events or experiences for new business/retention. Drove internal conversations that led to creating and solidifying a process to ensure all client-hosting events will be tagged as Marketing Department events moving forward, of which had not been previously tracked. • Successfully manage an annual budget of ~$13 million and utilize designated funds opportunistically for the best use of the brand. • Develop full strategic plans and tactical executions for lead accounts. Implement assets on time and on budget• Leverage partnerships to support TIAA breakthrough brand campaigns and apply assets accordingly to amplify message.• Ensure Partnerships are returning media value versus the sponsorship fee to solidify successful partnerships and significant ROI for TIAA. Work with external agencies to develop a baseline of contractual elements ROI to reevaluate and determine proper asset mix based on needs and results.• Work seamlessly across varying departments to ensure sponsorship program success (events, creative, paid media, social media, compliance, analytics, sales, etc.)
