I started as a Flight Medic on Blackhawk helicopters. In 2008 we deployed to Iraq where we transported over 800 patients during our time there including many local nationals. I recently took a promotion as a Medical Sergeant at the state Medical Command where we are responsible for the medical readiness of the entire Maine Army National Guard. My duties include the safe operations of the clinic, training of junior soldiers and maintaining accurate medical records for the state.
