ABOUT TIM LINDGREN

Tim Lindgren is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI), and an SNSF Scientific Exchange at the Geneva Graduate Institute (2026). His work concerns public international law with a particular attention to territory, sovereignty, climate change and the performance of international law in informal spaces. He has been a returning faculty member for the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights, and a Lecturer and a Teaching Fellow at Melbourne Law School. He has held Visiting Fellowships at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law at the University of Cambridge, the College of Law at the Australian National University and Melbourne Law School, and was offered the IGLP Residential Fellowship at Harvard University in 2022. He has also acted as a legal advisor to the Human Rights Committee (through Member Professor Yvonne Donders), and has published in leading journals such as the Leiden Journal of International Law and The International Journal of Human Rights Law.
