ABOUT TIM KANKU MENG

GMICE and APMP. I am a strong communicator with a good level of stakeholder management experience. Having worked for a number of transport bodies as both the client and the sub-contractor, I am competent when working within diverse teams. This also includes experience in civil, electrical, fire, drainage, mechanical, track, power and systems engineering. I have experience in managing projects and work packages from feasibility through to concept and detail design. I have utilised my qualifications and knowledge of the Association for Project Management (APM) and project management methodology to control deliverables, ensuring that complex projects are achieved to time, quality and cost requirements. I possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, this has been used to great effect in developing positive relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including operators, heads of discipline, directors and members of the public, whilst maintaining focus on the needs of the customer and the business.Regularly attending talks based on developments within the construction industry has made me more committed to growing professionally. I am currently pursuing membership with the APM and Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). My strong desire to improve health and safety on projects has led to completion of a number of health and safety talks and initiatives.
