With over 38 years experience in the Trucking, Warehousing and Distribution Industry, I\'ve had the opportunities to spend a lot of time in the day-to-day operations of every aspect in this industry.In my current role as the Director of Safety and Compliance I am able to teach the Drivers and Staff for Crane Transport the importance of the FMCSR and how they can have a direct effect on the company, and the CSA scores and how the lack of concern can be catastrophic if certian proceedures and policies are not followed. In the last three years at Crane Transport I have written and implemented new driver handbook to include safety best practices, company polices and procedure, and company discipline polices. Also implemented ELD\'s with GPS to the fleet. also implimented an on line video training rogram for drivers, shop and office personal. Most recently I was able to help Crane Transport regain its satisfactory safety rating, while improving overall CSA scores along with reducing liability losses by $1.5 mil. I am an active member of the GMTA and their Safety and Security Council. I am also a member of NATMI and received my CDS certification in 2014.
