About Tim Hudson

Tim is Gensler\'s Firmwide Aviation Practice Leader, with decades of experience in the design and delivery of both regional and large, domestic, and international terminal projects. Leading project teams at some of the world\'s busiest airports such as ATL, DFW, and LAX, supporting both airport and airline clients, he brings a unique perspective and understanding of how to successfully deliver design solutions in active airport environments.Through 28 years of experience as an architect and planner in the aviation industry, Tim has had the benefit of working on a diverse range of aviation project types. From terminal planning and design, covering Greenfield terminals, terminal renovations and expansions, to management of assets and cost of ownership at the conclusion of a project, he understands his client\'s needs from start to finish. This understanding carries through in construction, where he has had great success in working with general contractors in both CMaR and design-build environments. A unique focus of Tim\'s career has been an emphasis on passenger processing, including passenger check-in processes, checked baggage inspection systems, and passenger checkpoint design and layouts.
