ABOUT TIM HOVERSTEN

I am passionate about all aspects of aviation, promoting and protecting our ability to build and fly Experimental aircraft, and helping others participate in aviation in any way they can. Leading the way and stretching possibilities excites me, and helping others do the same motivates me.I have participated in building a number of aircraft, completing 2, one of which was the Zenith 750 STOL built by EAA staff, and been a test pilot of 3 so far, and am currently building another. I hold a Private Pilot - Airplane, Single-Engine Land certificate, and am a EAA Technical counselor with EAA Chapter 252, Oshkosh, WI, where I am also currently the Vice-President. Before coming to EAA in Dec, 2008, I volunteered for 10 years at the EAA Convention in the Rotorcraft area, and was past-President of the EAA Chapter in Portage, WI for 3 years.
