ABOUT TIM HOLLAND
I am current a Lieutenant (O-3) in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Officer Corps (NOAA Corps). Over the last few years I have been supporting the science mission of NOAA. My NOAA career has taken me from being a deck watch officer on a research vessel in the Pacific Ocean, to running remote field research stations in American Samoa and the South Pole.Prior to my NOAA Corps experience I worked in NASA\'s mission control for the International Space Station as a Biomedical Flight Controller. I worked with a team to help keep astronauts alive and healthy in space.My educational background is in engineering and I have never stopped learning about new things. From taking apart small boat engines to life support systems on space suits. I look forward to exploring the world and learning new things.
