He has extensive knowledge in public policy, land use, housing finance, and commercial development. Over the course of his real estate career, he has been involved in housing development with a total project value of $2 Billion with a delivery of over residential units and 1 million square feet of commercial space to communities in the Western United States. He also understands the fundamentals that drive the supply and demand residential and commercial projects. He is experienced in all construction types and costs. He knows how to navigate the entitlement process, and understands land use. He can underwrite a deal at the property level with varying capital stacks. He is an experienced negotiator representing capital on both sides of the transaction. He started his career in institutional real estate investment management, underwriting investment opportunities to place equity in new ground-up construction of commercial and multifamily assets. He also managed $100 million in debt and equity assets of multifamily, office and industrial product types for public and corporate pension funds, endowments, foundations and Taft-Hartley trust fund clients. Prior to his real estate career, Tim was a Navy SEAL officer and led special operations in the Middle East, Europe and Asia from Tim graduated in 2003 from the University of Southern California with a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Real Estate Development. He received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Oregon State University in 1992.
