I am currently with Rockwell Automation as the Senior Manager of Standards & Conformity Assessment. I have over 35 years of experience in the field of product safety, domestic and international standards work and conformity assessment. In my current position I am responsible for coordinating the global standards and conformity assessment positions/initiatives within Rockwell Automation.Since joining Rockwell, I have worked with other industry standards representatives on issues ranging from Global Conformity Assessment and Market Access concerns, standards revisions and various information technology initiatives. I participate in various industry and standards committees with ANSI, NEMA and the IEC. I am a past chair for the NEMA Industrial Automation Control Products & Systems Section In addition, I am currently a member of the executive of the IECEx Scheme, vice-Chair of the United States National Committee of the IEC (USNC) Conformity Assessment Policy Coordinating Committee and Chair of the USNC member body to the IECEE.
