ABOUT TIM DEBRUIN

With an extensive background in plastics and material conversion, I focus on responsible supply chain and sustainability management initiatives with some of the largest global manufacturing companies that create flexible and rigid packaging. I currently assist international clients that want to reduce, reuse, decompose and recycle their packaging. I work with small to large-sized companies focused on developing and implementing sustainability solutions and positioning these companies to thrive in the new green economy. In addition, I co-create with executive-led teams to develop their sustainability strategy and climate action plans to drive results for a better tomorrow!Supply chain functions were my focus for 20+ years and served as a great foundation to move into sustainability. One of the major turning points in my sustainability journey was the coursework I completed at University of Cambridge, where I knew I was in the right place to drive incredibly impactful changes, surrounded by a “think tank” of impressive individuals and the chance to develop a network with sustainability professionals from around the world. On the personal side, I am a single father of six children, with two sets of twins and have two English Cream retrievers that round out the household. I enjoy spending time in nature in Northern Wisconsin, kayaking and long trail hikes with my dogs.
