About Tim Cunningham

I work best where people struggle – the early stages of projects and other ill-defined settings. Most organizations I’ve encountered suffer from a scarcity of people who can guide teams in gray space – informal leads who can draw-on bits of information from a number of different people and fill in the gaps when new business opportunities are in their early stages and poorly defined, the company\'s offering hasn’t been formulated, and which organization should step up to the plate isn’t yet obvious. I’m one of those people, with a unique skillset (including soft skills) proven across a range of domains where technology-driven solutions are needed to grow business. C-level leaders trust me to be an objective individual contributor; to treat everyone\'s contributions, opinions, and abilities with respect; to step up to move new challenges forward when most others avoid them or don’t even realize the opportunity is there; to shape and articulate options and implementation plans; to effectively communicate; to efficiently execute projects; and to put together the rationale and plans to grow a company. I’ve spent 9+ years in industry, building on 20yrs in highly technical program leadership roles in the Air Force, meeting or exceeding every business development growth goal I’ve been given. The results I drive get organizations ahead of their competition with better offerings that draw out contributions from across the team. I continue to love travel, but Italy is forever my favorite and my experiences on the boot expand almost every year. I continue to work to speak Italian better - I will never speak dialetti like a local but my Italian gets stronger all the time. While the benefits during leisure travel have already been substantial, I would relish the opportunity to use the language in my future endeavors.
