Completing my MBA course whilst working full time, especially challenging during the pandemic with extremely limited resource due to furlough.Developing and implementing strategies in partnership with other teams across Virgin Atlantic, with a strong focus on ensuring commercial viability of plans. Achieved was the rollout of the Virgin Atlantic Holidays third party airline strategy. Reviewing and updating ways of working following 40% reduction in resource due to the pandemic. This included identifying and implementing process improvements, and making changes in working with other departments. Business lead on Virgin Atlantic Holidays planning to ongoing Covid travel restrictions. This includes chairing cross functional working group, defining commercial policies, representing the division in wider group forums, and reforecasting budgets and cashflow.Business case development for new Virgin Atlantic leisure routes. Launch of new Maldives route a highlight.Responsible for the line management of the Revenue Management Executive Team (3 direct reports).Divisional lead on Employee Development improvement initiatives, generating a six point improvement on Employee Engagement.
