ABOUT TIM CLARK

Renewable Energy and Heating Systems Consultant. With the UK targeting Net Carbon Zero by 2050 and Grants and Subsidies currently available, NOW is the time to help the environment by reducing your carbon footprint and saving yourself money each day. Previously Operations Manager for ChipsAway Dunstable & Leighton Buzzard with responsibility for estimating, scheduling and ensuring the SMART repairs were carried out to customer vehicles to the highest standards. Whilst working as Operations Manager for a materials testing company, my work involved the coordination of 50 vehicles, equipment and over 40 staff, allocating tasks for the testing and collection of samples of materials from multiple sites across the Midlands to the South coast. In this role, I initiated a number of improvements including attaining FORS Bronze, a new planning system to coordinate site, laboratory and accounts staff and introduced targets to enhance performance. I have a strong engineering background, with experience covering airport, railway and highway infrastructure projects in the UK and overseas, including the International Airport in Malaysia and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. More recently, I have worked on operations in the UK, creating the standards strategy for the new Cross London Rail Link and previously worked for the Highways Authority in Hertfordshire, coordinating the County’s highway maintenance operations. In addition, I have acted as lead for the Institute of Engineering & Technology - Built Environment sector, working with government, businesses and academics to investigate new technologies. It has also been my privilege to act as STEM Ambassador, raising the awareness of students in schools and colleges to encourage their development and interest in the subjects of Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics.
