ABOUT TIM CLANSEY
As a Training Coordinator with over 31 years at Johnson Controls / Adient, I specialize in process improvement, compliance auditing, and training system modernization, including the design, deployment, and management of digital learning content using Articulate 360 within an LMS environment. Leveraging my Six Sigma Black Belt certification and problem-solving expertise, I have successfully implemented structured process changes, standardized documentation, and introduced streamlined training programs, including a Fundamental Skills Program and a Train-the-Trainer initiative supported by interactive e-learning modules. These initiatives have strengthened core competencies, improved training consistency, and enhanced workforce capability and productivity. My role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges through Kaizen workshops, Lean principles, and cost-reduction projects. I have also mentored colleagues in problem-solving methodologies and developed comprehensive, scalable training frameworks that support compliance, skill development, and continuous improvement. I am committed to delivering impactful, data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, elevate quality, and support sustainable organizational growth.Implementing **AG5** into our training program has significantly reduced administrative burden while giving us a clear, real-time view of skills and competency across the business. By centralising skills matrices and linking them directly to roles and processes, AG5 enables effective gap analysis, strengthens process knowledge, and supports truly standardised working. The result is smarter training decisions, faster compliance checks, and less time wrestling spreadsheets—so the focus stays where it should be: building capability and performance.
