Additionally he recently served as Vice-Chair of the board of trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) which is the parent organization of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).Tim is among the most well-known and highly respected leaders in the global accounting profession. He served as 2015-16 Chairman of the board of directors of the American Institute of CPAs and continues to serve on the AICPA governing Council. Tim also served on the Integrated Reporting and Connectivity Council (IIRC) which is an advisory body to the IFRS Foundation trustees, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB)and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). He has been recognized by Accounting Today as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the accounting profession and Inside Public Accounting as one of the five Most Admired U.S. Managing Partners.Tim has served on numerous not-for-profit boards including the Lyric Opera of Chicago, WMC Foundation, Special Olympics WI and the United Way of Dane County.
