About Tim Byrnes
Tim Byrnes is a Managing Director with Morgan Stanley and Market Executive of the Wisconsin Market based in Brookfield. Tim was recruited to the firm as a Financial Advisor in Geneva, Illinois at the end of 1997. He has held a succession of wealth management leadership positions across Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin over the past two decades. Tim was a recipient of Morgan Stanley’s Citizenship Award in 2013 for community involvement. In 2015, he and a colleague established Blue Shirt Pink Tie Thursday to show solidarity with those who are fighting cancer. Blue Shirt Pink Tie Thursday is now celebrated globally at Morgan Stanley the week before Thanksgiving each year. Tim earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago. Tim and his wife Jennifer have four children and split their time between Wisconsin and Melbourne Beach, FL. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, golfing, and running.
