About Tim Butler
I was born and raised in Summit, New Jersey, and I am an Earth and Climate Sciences major at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. I love to travel and spend time outdoors. Some of my passions include hiking, alpine skiing, and sound design. I volunteer regularly, and I value spending time with friends and family. Currently, I am working towards finishing my degree, while pursuing some of my interests at a collegiate level. I serve as the co-president and Captain of the Bates Competitive Alpine Skiing Team (Club) and act as a team liaison to our division. In addition, I have been working through the Bates Theatre and Dance department to pursue my lifelong dream to work in sound design. At this time, I have designed sounds for 2 thesis productions, and have been recently nominated for a scholarship by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. I am searching for opportunities that pertain to the energy industry. I am specifically interested in renewables, hydrocarbons, and LNG.
