   I joined Carahsoft in 2009 and have played a part in the company’s record year-over-year growth, culminating most recently in 2017 bookings of $4.4B. My experience in state and local government and education sales have made me a strategic leader in Carahsoft’s VMware sales unit. I have several VMware certifications, including VSP, VTSP, and multiple VMware sales proficiencies which have helped me to build and develop the VMware sales, channel, and marketing team at Carahsoft. I also train other team members and partners as a VMware Boot Camp Instructor on these competency exams and have a 100 percent passing rate for the 90+ students I’ve worked with. I am responsible for helping manage the VMware SLED distribution channel, which consists of fifteen inside sales representatives and a sales pipeline of more than $100 million annually. This territory yields opportunities every year and I proactively seek out circumstances, like obtaining the right contracts and purchasing vehicles, such as NJEDge, OARNet, The Quilt and more, which will help our team continue to grow. I am also driving Carahsoft’s expansion into the education marketplace, including K12 and higher education institutions. Working with VMware, Symantec, Splunk, EMC, and other best-of-breed vendors, Carahsoft is delivering IT innovation to schools and universities with the right tools and services needed to meet the growing demands of students. Under my leadership, the VMware SLED team and various Education Sales teams continue to grow rapidly by offering the latest solutions. I work to open doors to new business opportunities in the public sector space and assist in the organization of hundreds of educational events each year to help customers learn innovative ways to leverage VMware solutions to achieve their missions, lower costs, and increase IT agility and flexibility.
