About Tim Berteotti

Experienced and skilled at creating valuable mechanical and HVAC design solutions from pre-design through construction, Tim is a key engineering leader for our Pittsburgh office. He partners with leading organizations across all major markets including Carnegie Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center to name just a few to design leading-edge engineering systems. Tim also serves as our Pittsburgh Virtual Design + Construction leader. In this role, he works extensively in Revit to help organizations leverage design tech to ensure quality, gain efficiency, and maximize ROI.Timothy received a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and a minor in Bioengineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He has a strong background with HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design for healthcare, institutional, educational, and commercial buildings.Timothy is an integral part of many design teams. He assists with many projects and has taken on increasing responsibility to lead HVAC engineer on multiple projects. Using software programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, IES, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace, eQuest he has defined new methods and practices to complete each task in the utmost efficient way possible.Timothy is also instrumental in the development, training, and updating of over 20 custom in-house Revit Add-In for architects and engineers alike. He continually updates and refines these Add-Ins to perform faster and more accurately to increase design precision and productivity of BIM models.
