Determine the existence of electrical hazards and problems. Safely isolate,ground, and prepare circuits and electrical equipment to enable repairs.Read/interpret engineering drawings and manuals to install, calibrate and maintainelectrical devices and systems. Work from complex engineering and manufacturers drawingsor manuals to complete projects and assigned work.Install electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiring.Ability to use electrical/electronic testing equipment, such as multi-meters,ammeters, megohm meters, high potential testers, oscilloscopes, digital probes totroubleshoot and repair equipment.Use hand and power tools related to the electrical trades.Install and maintain control and distribution devices/equipment, such as switches, receptacles, relays,circuit breakers, and control panels.Repair or replace faulty electrical equipment, including electronic controls, meters, switches, receptacles, and panels. Effectively communicate problems and solutions to resolve electrical issues. Observe safe work practices and ensure work does not endanger others.
