I am currently a Manager of Late Stage Utility Scale Solar Estimating for the Engineering & Construction group of NextEra Energy. The team supports construction projects for NextEra Energy Resources and FPL projects with detailed estimates, bid review & analysis (rack-ups), change order evaluation, and ARO (asset retirement obligation i.e. decommissioning) and audit support. My role as manager focuses on developing and maintaining our estimating tools and templates, following and being well versed on the market as a whole, finding and developing talent, and reviewing estimates with staff and management.
