Providing design, engineering, architecture, planning, and advisory services across every aspect of the built environment.Reporting to the Group CFO, responsible for the delivery of the Finance Leadership Team’s priority initiatives including the delivery of the new global finance vision and the associated transformation program. Achievements• Successfully led the design and delivery of a global Finance Target Operating Model in line with strategic objectives. • Restructured over 400 people across five international and autonomously operating regions. Developing a new global leadership team and realigning operational activities. • Leading on the development of a 5-year finance systems strategy and the associated building blocks, deliver workstreams focused on both a short-term tactical and a longer-term strategic plan. • Led a phased transformation program to design and develop a new Asia Pacific Finance Shared Services operation, circa 30 people.• Led on an interim basis the Finance Business Services team of 70 people, delivering transactional services to UKIMEA, Europe, East Asia, AustralAsia and the Americas.• Leading an international team, supported by KPMG, to create a global operating model for Arup’s Payroll services, to reduce 29 service providers to 4 and standardising processes across 5 regions.
