I provide professional independent trustee services for a range of defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid schemes. I represent Pi as Chair on trustee boards, and also have a number of sole trustee clients where I act either as lead or support trustee.At Pi I deal with a wide range of issues including- investment reviews, both DB and DC- valuation negotiations for DB schemes including setting long term objectives- benefit rectification and GMP equalisation exercises- complex Fraud Compensation Fund cases - working with overseas employers - member communication strategies- DC scheme wind ups- Value for Members assessments- Scheme mergers to release surplus- Buy-ins, Buy-outs and DB scheme wind upsIn addition I am also responsible for the day to day but equally important role of ensuring that all my schemes are well governed through regular meetings up, robust and up to date governance policies and timely decision making.I also support our Trustee Executive Services Team and have been involved in assisting Scheme Secretary appointments on a £400m buy-in project and also on a GMP Equalisation project.
