ABOUT TILO MAROTZ
Over the last three decades I did manager selection and fund analysis on all asset classes with focus on alternative solutions. What has been my most important take away? People and character matter the most.How do I approach business? Like I do a puzzle, but without claiming perfection. I ask a lot of unusual questions and prefer straight talk.Both knowing the big picture and actively taking part in investment committees are fundamental, but so have been my values in successfully managing individual and multi-asset fund-of-funds during several statistically-impossible market events.Speaking about all of this in the relevant media is a big part of my career too, as is the social commentary that goes with it.Over the last 20 years, I have also helped people understand basic financial concepts at one of Europe’s largest educational institutions.What else? Well, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing chess in Thailand, and having a good workout.All posts/content here are not related to my current employer.
