About Tilisha Harrison

I began my career at Mercy Home as Day Coordinator in Kelly Home on the Boy’s Campus in 2003. While in my second year of my master’s program, I became the Program Supervisor of the youngest girls\' home on Mercy Home\'s Walsh Campus. After I graduated from my MSW program, I served as the Therapist in Couderc Home by providing clinical treatment and guidance to the youth ages, 16-19. To further my love for working with girls and administrative and clinical work, I became the Program Manager of Walgreen Home, ages 14-16 where I learned the true meaning of leadership, community, and love for Social Work in general. I received my license in Clinical Social Work in 2015. I left Mercy Home in 2016 to enrich my leadership and clinical skills in mental health and substance abuse. I worked closely with the Problem Solving, Drug and Mental health courts within the Lake County Criminal Justice system. In 2018, I decided to return to Mercy Home to lead Friends First Mentoring program in its next phase of community outreach. I have worked as a private practice therapist since 2016, by promoting mental wellness amongst community members. Currently, I provide contracted therapeutic and consultant services through The Wingspan Project\'s VALOR program.
