16+ years of overall IT experience, with last 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing technologies. Currently working at AT & T Amdocs, Atlanta, GA as a Senior Data Engineer. Working in Solution Architect and Technical lead roles for several Data Engineering, Data Ingestion projects in Datalake. Architected and lead large scale Spend Analytics Data Stitching projects consuming data from multitude of sources and stitching them into Fact and Dimensions Business Ready Datasets using Hive and Spark-SQL in Hadoop, for MicroStrategy reporting. Utilized hash keys in place of surrogate keys to minimize lookup joins in load process. Involved in creation of Data Marts, and several enhancements in ECDW. Extensive Experience working with Dimensional/Star/Snowflake data modeling concepts. Possess hands-on experience in BIGDATA HADOOP technologies such as Hive, Sqoop Import/Export, Scala, Spark-Core, Spark-SQL. POC using Kafka and Streaming. Some familiarity with Unstructured datasets using Spark-Core and Spark Streaming applications. Worked in several Data Warehousing projects for Finance and Marketing domains. Extensive SQL programming to perform statistical analysis and identifying patterns from the ECDW data for business and legal requirements. Developing innovative solutions and automations like Reusability which enabled for very quick and high-quality data recovery from load failures and data loss in data captured from CDC systems. Experience working in Waterfall and Agile Methodologies.
