ABOUT TIGRAN KHACHATRYAN
Tigran Khachatryan is a fourth-year student pharmacist at West Coast University School of Pharmacy, passionate about improving patient care and advancing the field of pharmacy. Through extensive leadership roles, research involvement, and work experience, he is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in pharmacy. In terms of leadership, Tigran has served as President of the WCU APhA/CPhA-ASP Chapter and as a Board Director for CPhA, where he led the chapter to earn several prestigious awards, including the APhA Regional Innovative Award for Operation OTC Medication Safety, APhA\'s Innovative Programming Award for Region 8, Innovative Chapter of the Year, and Chapter of Excellence. His leadership efforts were further recognized by the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office for contributions to the community. Additionally, Tigran played a pivotal role in establishing the WCU Phi Delta Chi Fraternity and served as Vice President of WCU ASHP/CSHP, fostering professional growth among his peers. His leadership has left a lasting impact on both the chapter and the pharmacy community. In addition to his leadership roles, Tigran is currently employed at Kaiser Permanente, where he provides patient care while further developing his clinical skills. With a strong foundation in communication, time management, and problem-solving, Tigran is pursuing a pharmacy residency to continue making a difference in patient outcomes and the broader healthcare landscape. His future aspirations include specializing in acute care where he can combine his passion for service with his commitment to advancing pharmacy practice.
