About Tighe Flanagan

Tighe is a problem solver with a global perspective. He holds a master\'s in Arab Studies from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service and has worked in the international development, nonprofit, technology, and arts sectors. He bridges the digital and analog worlds in his work as an award-winning textile artist and he carries that same approach forward in his work leading successful teams and programs. He has taught in the classroom as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Jordan and has managed a distributed team to serve global grassroots stakeholders at the Wikimedia Foundation. He has experience working with multilateral organizations to improve access to basic education, and a keen eye for details and nuance. He speaks Arabic, French, and English, and hopes to learn Turkish, Farsi, and Portuguese.
