Our Mission: To provide professional development to educators, youth, families and transition partners to ensure every child graduates, college and career ready!Funded through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, the Transition Improvement Grant (TIG) was established in 2013. TIG promotes the understanding and implementation of the transition requirements and the effective practices found in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).TIG Provides:* No cost professional development opportunities through our Statewide Transition Academy, Transition Collaboration Network (TCN) meetings, face-to-face trainings, monthly webinars, on-line modules, and phone and email consultations.* Monitoring and technical assistance with data collection and reporting requirements for Indicators 13 and 14 through the Postsecondary Transition Plan (PTP) and Post School Outcomes (PSO) survey.* An opportunity to help schools improve their Post School Outcomes (PSO) through the Transition Improvement Plan (TIP) process.
