ABOUT TIFFANY ZHU
Tiffany Zhu is a senior at Washington University in St. Louis, where she combines her academic pursuits with a strong commitment to improving youth well-being in today’s rapidly evolving world. Her dedication to addressing pressing global challenges began in high school and has since evolved into impactful initiatives, such as starting a youth philanthropy summer program for grades 3-8 through grants and business sponsorships and analyzing research data on new cancer technologies. Tiffany’s work focuses on bridging the gap between youth well-being and healthcare needs, with a recent emphasis on youth social health and combatting the loneliness epidemic. As a Lonely Hearts Club Challenge Fellow at Young Futures, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making it easier for youth to navigate the digital world, Tiffany played a key role in distributing $1M in grants and providing a toolkit to support nonprofits on the front lines of navigating the digital wilderness and improving youth lives. In Fall 2024, Tiffany launched a project centered around storytelling and social connections for childhood cancer survivors. This culminated in a gallery exhibit in April 2025. Additionally, she is dedicated to clinical research, with her most recent role at Penn Medicine. During her time at digital health venture capital firm Startup Health, she has worked closely with the Chief Business Development Officer to research potential funders for the Alzheimer’s Moonshot and scout early-stage startups.Tiffany’s passion for youth wellbeing, technology, and public health fuels her drive to create positive change. She plans to pursue a medical degree and continue her work in research and advocacy for youth well-being.
