Responsible for $25,783,282 in inventory at our East Coast facility and $52,230,173 in our West Coast facilities;$78,013,455 total dollars Responsible for purchases of over 100 SKUs Placing orders using our MRP system Forecasting based on orders placed by sales, customers and historic sales. Manage inventory to prevent aging inventory or out of code spices using various MRP reports. Sourcing items from different suppliers/countries along with finding the best price for quality products. Sourcing countries: Vietnam, India, China, Italy and Australia Write up and track suppler SCARS/QA Rejections, supplier credits Assist and support the Senior Procurement Manager in Projects and assignments as requested/required. Work with our importers to make sure our containers come off the ocean and to our warehouse without collecting demurrage or storage fees. Work closely with logistics making sure POs arrive on time and are picked up in a timely manner from our US suppliers. Track POs from Origin Countries through Excel spreadsheets
