About Tiffany Tang

I received my M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Washington with a focus in composites in 2019 and my B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Washington with a focus in renewable energy in 2018. I strive to better the environment through my passion for research and development. Whether I am in the aerospace industry creating lighter materials that will lead to lower fuel emissions, energy industry fabricating semiconductors for solar cells, or tech industry making headsets out of materials with a more eco-friendly LCA, I hope to create a more sustainable future. My current and past projects focused heavily on experimental design and data analysis, materials characterization, and constant optimization based on my findings. Outside of my research and work, I have years of leadership experience that helped me develop my communication and teamwork skills. I hope to advance my career by working on product lines both in infancy and at commercialization that appreciate both my desire to improve the world and my desire to keep learning.
