I am a higher education professional excited about creating inclusive educational environments for ALL students. After discovering my passion for serving college students, I took on varying experiences as a higher education practitioner, including academic advising, admissions, multicultural programming, and student affairs. I have had the pleasure of working at multiple institution types including R1 institutions, a liberal arts college, and a medical school.I make it a point to engage in Equity & Inclusion work at each institution where I serve in an effort to create more equitable environments for students. My professional experiences have also informed my research interests which include elevating the narratives of students on the margins and examining and implementing practices that cultivate diverse, equitable, and inclusive higher education environments for underrepresented and minoritized populations.
