As part of the Employee Benefits team, I develop, design and manage employee benefit programs and align outcomes with the organization’s corporate philosophy and objectives. Our model focuses on long-term strategic planning to assist employers in increasing the value of their benefit programs to aid them in being a preferred employer. We utilize proprietary management tools that vary by industry and size to meet the unique needs of each sector and provide specialized plans that aid our clients in meeting their business needs with proven positive results that are reported to senior management through our annual review process. Tactics we use include population risk management and analysis of health plan membership/demographics; review of local employers’ health plan participation to mitigate risk; wellness and health management analysis to reduce the impact of high-cost claimants with chronic conditions, just to name a few. Our financial analysis and alternative funding designs for health plans has led to reduced costs without benefit changes and in some cases, benefit enhancements. We have proven successes in varying-sized employers, including under 100 employees with limited options through community-rated platforms. Many of our clients have frequently experienced positive results within the first plan year with the use of these tactics either through cost-containment or reduction to benefit enhancement or realignment on the health and ancillary plans. In addition to the ongoing management of benefit plans, we provide turn-key wellness programs designed to reduce costs through health plan efficiency and improved productivity. Our team also provides professional-level marketing support to brand the benefits program and customized communication solutions to aid our clients in their recruiting and retention efforts.
