About Tiffany Fisher

I have a vivid memory from the sixth grade of myself pulling out a math textbook and completing algebra problems…for fun. That’s right, they were not assigned and they strictly for my own personal enjoyment and growth. My passion for problem solving results in exceeding expectations. I’ve been that way ever since. You may be thinking I didn’t (and currently don’t) have a life outside of numbers, but I do! I’ve traveled SE Asia, played soccer and semi-pro rugby, and attended various leadership conferences. I recently turned to data science when I discovered that I have been practicing data analysis my entire life. I’ve interpreted data in A/B testing for marketing emails, analyzed student grades and progress via statistical analysis, and utilized automation tools to streamline grading for instant feedback. Not only do I excel when working with data, but I am also proficient in communication and presentation skills. After over five years of speaking in front of a classroom of kids (because we know they are harder on us than adults!), I have developed a keen eye for human behavior and the ability to adjust my presentations as needed for the audience. My approach to projects and to life is with curiosity, an open-mind, and a desire to grow and to discover through logic and collaboration. Whether that is analyzing a data set in a Jupyter Notebook or another team’s plays out on the rugby pitch, I utilize those qualities to examine the big picture as well as the details. In this process, I am habitually developing my skills and fine-tuning my action plans and projects to result in greater efficiency and quality.
