With almost 15 years\' experience at PwC, she has held various leadership roles, including leading service teams for many of PwC\'s largest clients, with a focus on the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) and private equity (PE) sectors. As the face of the firm to the local community and businesses, she is passionate about driving market-driven corporate responsibility initiatives and delivering value to clients. She is equally passionate about all aspects of firm-wide activities, including people, community and workplace management.Deals and Private Equity: In her role as Cyber Risk and Reg\'s (CRR) Deals Solution Lead and PE CRR Platform Lead, Melanie ensures that clients receive expert guidance and advice to maximise deal value and reduce transaction risk. By focusing on the technology and digital aspects of a transaction, Melanie advances her clients\' objectives as they undertake complex, global integrations, divestitures, separations and joint ventures. Her clients value approaches that accelerate risk identification and mitigation strategies to achieve desired deal synergies and increase shareholder value.Transformation, XaaS, Analytics & Automation: Melanie has also worked with clients undergoing complex business transformations, advising them on the cross-functional implications specifically related to their business processes, systems and controls. Melanie has also led the analysis of data at scale, including big data analysis, data validation and visual analytics. She also leads system implementations, particularly for solutions that support revenue growth through subscription and consumption business models and the new leasing standard. In addition, Melanie has extensive and broad assurance experience in areas such as SEC, technical accounting, financial and operational controls, internal audit and compliance. She is a national speaker at various forums. She is a Certified Public Accountant in NY and a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is extremely passionate about making a difference in the community and serves on several non-profit boards and is a committed supporter of issues such as mental health, education and poverty/equality for all.
