As an Instructional Aide with the district for the past 7 years, and in collaboration with the lead teachers during that time, I\'ve been able to hone my skills in lesson plan implementation and needs assessment, building a firm foundation of industry knowledge. My communication skills have defused countless tense situations in the hallways of JFK, and I work effectively in high-pressure situations in the classroom. As a newly hired teacher in the middle of a pandemic that has forced an all virtual teaching model, I am self-motivated to complete tasks on time with minimal direction and have a strong aptitude in technology. Being fully remote for the past year, Ive been able to maintain an energetic and enthusiastic team-playing attitude who can also step in to take the wheel when team leadership is needed.
